Via email, WhatsApp or phone call you discuss your ideas with us.
Your personal travel consultant will guide you through the process of finding the perfect itinerary for you. He/She sends you itinerary ideas and after your feedback he/she customises the itinerary for you, makes adjustments, changes the standard of lodges, reroutes or comes up with a completely new itinerary until you are 100% happy and excited about the tour.
When the itinerary fully meets your expectations and budget, your travel consultant sends you the booking documents i.e. the invoice and the booking form.
At this point we are holding your reservation provisionally for you for 7 days to give you time to rethink, book your international flights and fill the booking form, while the price and availability of the tour, that you planned with us, is quaranteed.
To proceed with your reservation and to confirm your safari, please
– return the booking form signed by all travellers.
– make a deposit (or full) payment.
– for some tours we require a copy of your passport (e.g. to book flights or register you for park entry)
When we received all booking documents and payment, we send you a voucher and itinerary booklet that will guide you through your safari with Kalahari Breeze Safaris.
Your booking is confirmed as soon as:
1.we received the filled and signed booking form.
2. we received the deposit payment (it cleared in our account or we received an official proof of payment from your bank)
We will send you an email confirming receipt of booking documents/payment and informing you that your booking is now confirmed.
We offer individualised payment plans. Please discuss with your travel consultant what works best for you.
A minimum deposit of 20% is required to confirm your reservation.
The balance can be paid in installments or as once-off payment as discussed with your travel Consultant.
Our standard payment plans are:
For lodge accomodation tours:
20% deposit
60% until 6 months before arrival
100% until 3 months before Arrival
For example: You book a tour for USD 1000 and it starts 15 August. Then you pay 20% confirmation deposit (USD 200) + 40% is due by 14 February (USD 400) + 40% is due by 14 May (USD 400).
For wildcamping safaris:
20% deposit
60% until 3 months before arrival
100% until 1 months before Arrival
For example: You book a tour for USD 1000 and it starts 15 August. Then you pay 20% confirmation deposit (USD 200) + 40% is due by 14 May (USD 400) + 40% is due by 14 July (USD 400).

Please kindly note that we need to receive full amount i.e. all bank/card fee are on your account.
For the fees that are applicable when processing an international bank transfer, please enquire with your bank.
For card payments DPO charges a fee of 5% of the total amount.
Yes, you can cancel your safari any time. Cancellation fees apply.
All cancellations must be done in writing and receipt thereof acknowledged by Kalahari Breeze Safaris to be a valid cancellation.
Cancellation fees apply as follows:
If the cancellation is made … days prior to tour start | the cancellation fee is … % |
181 days (6 months) | deposit is non-refundable (=20% cancellation fee without refund) |
91 days (3 months) | 60% cancellation fee without refund |
31 days (1 month) | 100% cancellation fee without refund |
You will not be entitled to refunds for a no show or for a partially used booking.
Kalahari Breeze Safaris reserves the right to cancel reservations should your deposit, installment or balance payment not be received in time. In this case the payments received are kept by Kalahari Breeze Safaris as cancellation fee.
If the booking has not been cancelled though the guest failed to pay in time a 10% delay fee applies every three days after due date if the guests would like to keep the reservation in place.
