This is an authetic wild camping safari Deep into the parks of Botswana starting and ending in Victoria Falls.

Overview:

Day 1: Pick up at Airport in Victoria Falls or Livingstone and transfer to Elephant Sands
Day 2: Elephant Sands to Makgadikgadi Salt Pans / activities: 4×4 excursion (Maybe see meerkats)
Day 3: Salt Pans to Makgadikgadi National Park / activities: gamedrive
Day 4: Makgadikgadi National Park / activities: gamedrives
Day 5: Makgadikgadi NP to Okavango Delta / activities: morning gamedrive and afternoon Mokoro tour
Day 6: Okavango Delta / activities: walking Safari and Mokoro excursion
Day 7: Okavango Delta / activities: walking Safari and Mokoro excursion, overnight in Maun

Day 1: VICTORIA FALLS TO ELEPHANT SANDS (-/-/D)

We welcome you in Victoria Falls, Livingstone or Kasane.
After a 4-6 hours drive we arrive in Elephant Sands. Elephant Sands gives you the opportunity to observe herds of elephants and other animals from an upclose distance. Sit by the waterhole and view how the animals interact.

Day 2: SLEEPING IN THE SALTPANS OF MAKGADKGADI (B/-/D)

In the very early morning you have a cup of coffee and/or tea. Then you go on a guided walking excursion through the bush of the Elephant Sands Game Reserve or on a game drive.
On return you have a full breakfast and time for a last view on the happenings at the waterhole before continuing the journey to Makgadikgadi.
You overnight under the stars at the edge of Ntwetwe Salt pan where you can settle down around a roaring camp fire in time to watch the most spectacular African sunset!
You are served a 3-course meal around a candle lit dining table while enjoying the solitude of the salt pan.
You can then head off for bed to snuggle down into the warm and cosy bedrolls whilst watching the night sky pass right above your head (our overnights are a favourite with astronomers and anyone keen to see the Milky Way in all its glory)!

Day 3: GAMEVIEWING IN MAKGADIKGADI NATIONAL PARK (B/-/D)

After breakfast, you leave the salt pans and we take you to Makgadikgadi National Park where our team already set up the wilderness camp for you. Enjoy a sunset drive.
After a delicious dinner you can sit around the campfire your experiences of the day.

Day 4: CLOSE UP WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS IN MAKGADIKGADI (B/L/D)

An early morning wake up with a fast breakfast allows you to go on an early gamedrive as this is the time when the predators are on the hunt.
You spend the day on gamedrives along the Boteti River. After the morning game drive you return to camp where you have the chance to freshen up with a delightful bush shower. The team is already awaiting you with brunch so that you can go on your next game drive as soon as the hot midday sun is over and the animals come out of their hiding places again.
Evening progamm once again is dinner and story telling around the campfire and the unforgettable experience of being during night inside the bush.

Day 5: Into The Okavango (B/L/D)

And again you are woken up in the early morning with a warm “Dumela” so that after a fast coffee, tea and breakfast snack you can go on an early morning game drive. Today we are moving camp into the Okavango Delta. After a morning game drive we are heading towards Maun. We then continue to the Inner Okavango Delta.
The Okavango tour starts with a 1h speedboat cruise to the Buffalo Fence. Because of dryseason or other circumstances we might drive you in a 4×4 vehicle. At the buffalo fence you meet your poler, who will take you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our polers and guides show you their home which they are very pationate and knowledgable about. Our experienced polers take you on a journey deep in the watersystem. Enjoy the peace of the delta in a Mokoro, the traditional onetree-canoe. In camp on an island our team awaits you with a shower and dinner. In the evening you sit around the campfire sharing the stories of the day.

Day 6: On the Islands of the Okavango Delta (B/L/D)

Spend the whole day deep inside the Okavango. Explore the channels by Mokoro (traditional DugOut Canoe) and go on guided bushwalks and gamewalks with an experienced guide on the islands of the Okavango Delta. You are woken up with a warm “Dumela“ (setswana = Hello) and a light breakfast waiting for you. After coffee, tea and breakfast you go on your first gameviewing activity (either a nature walk or a canoe excursion). When returning to camp you have the opportunity to shower and have a light lunch. After your meal your guide takes you on an afternoon activity where we hope to see more animals and learn about the delta its plants, animals and the tribes living here. For dinner we return to camp. Enjoy delicious meals cooked over the bushfire by our experienced bush chef and share the experiences of the day in the evening sitting around the bushfire before falling asleep in your comfortable tent with the noises of animals and the bush around you.

Day 7: In the channels of the Okavango Delta (B/L/-)

Enjoy a last DugOut Canoe tour and a last bush walk before heading back to town. For lunch you will rest by the riverside. Before sunset you will be back in Maun where you will be accomodated in a double room.

Day 8: INTO THE WILD OF MOREMI GAME RESERVE (B/L/D)

In the early morning at we pick you at your hotel or lodge in Maun. In a 4×4 open-sided safari vehicle you drive to Moremi Game Reserve, where you will spend the day on gamedrives in the floodplains – seasonally or perennially wet, waterways, lagoons, pools, pans, grasslands and riparian, riverine and mophane forests. This terrain makes driving Moremi’s many loops and trails both delightful and, at times, totally inspiring.
Inside the bush you enjoy a picnic lunch. Before the sun sets you arrive in your camp in where you enjoy a bush shower. After a delicious dinner you can sit around the campfire sharing your experiences of the day.

day 9: WILDLIFE TRACKING IN MOREMI (B/L/D)

An early morning wake up with a fast breakfast allows you to go on an early gamedrive as this is the time when the predators are on the hunt. After the game drive you return to camp where you have the chance to freshen up with a delightful bush shower. The team is already awaiting you with brunch so that you can go on your next game drive as soon as the hot midday sun is over and the animals come out of their hiding places again. Evening progamm once again is dinner and story telling around the campfire a In Savute our team puts up the camp and while we prepare a delicious dinner for you, you can have a shower and wash off the dust of the sandy roads. Sit around the campfire and listen to the bush while the sun sets.

day 10: FROM BUSH TO SAVANNAH (B,L,D)

Today the camp is moving from Moremi to Savute National Park. In the moring our team breaks down the camp while you have a light breakfast and then start your crosspark drive.
Around lunch time you stop for a picknick meal and a short siesta in Mababe Depression area before continuing to Savute. You stop for animals on the way and enjoy the change of scenery from green bush to savanna.
In Savute our team puts up the camp and while we prepare a delicious dinner for you, you can have a shower and wash off the dust of the sandy roads.

After the game drive you return to camp where you have the chance to freshen up with a delightful bush shower. The team is already awaiting you with brunch so that you can go on your next game drive as soon as the hot midday sun is over and the animals come out of their hiding places again. Evening progamm once again is dinner and story telling around the campfire and the unforgettable experience of being during night deep inside the bush.

day 12: SAVANNAH TO RIVERFRONT (B/L/-)

And again you are woken up in the early morning with a warm “Dumela” so that after a coffee, tea and breakfast  you are going on the scenic drive to your next destination. Today we are moving to Chobe Riverfront with a lunch picknick on the way. You arrive in Kasane around lunchtime with plenty of pictures and unforgettable memories.
You will be accomodated at a budget-midrange lodge (upgrade available).
After check in you have short time to refresh and then we take you on a 3h boating safari in the Chobe River.

day 13: VICTORIA FALLS ZIMBABWE (B/-/-)

After breakfast we transfer you to the Victoria Falls. The transfer takes about 1.5-2h if there is no delay at the border.
We take you on a guided walk through the Vicoria Falls Rainforest in Zimbabwe and in the evening you go on a sunset cruise in Zambezi River.
Any other activities can be organised on surcharge.
Accomodation is in a double room.

day 14: DEPARTURE (B/-/-)

After breakfast we transfer you to Victoria Falls Airport (Zimbabwe) or Livingstone Airport (Zambia) where you connect to your Departure flight.

visas, international flights (to / from Victoria Falls or Livingstone), inssurances, gratuities, personal expenses (such as souvenirs), alcoholic beverages during camping (can be added on surcharge), any drinks during lodging, 3x lunch, 3x dinner, parkfees in Victoria Falls.
